-NO offensive or nasty behaviour that is out of role play. On Phoenix Ascending, we do not tolerate any prejudicial behaviour. Prejudice includes racism, homophobia, sexism, and general rudeness about people being different e.g. dyslexia, and mental or physical health problems.

-NO spamming. This is very annoying to put very short and pointless posts around the place, but we have set up areas where you can chat or advertise. Please use them.

-NO excessive swearing. This site is censored anyway, and we do tolerate some bad language, but please don’t swear in every other word. It’s not very mature or pleasant.

-Respect and being civil. Now, I really shouldn’t have to ask people to be polite and respectful of other members, but from experience on other sites, you occasionally get some nasty people who do not seem to understand how to act nicely around their fellow man.

-ONE ACCOUNT PER CHARACTER! It may get confusing with so many character's on one account!

Role Play

-NO god-moding or power-play. If you do not understand what this means, please look it up on Wikipedia. Any respectable and seasoned role player will know that this type of behavior is shunned on any RPG site.

-NO Mary-sues or Gary-sues. This is similar to the rule above, and to those who do not understand, these are characters who are perfect in everyway; looks, intelligence, popularity, ect. Everybody has their put downs, and nobody’s completely perfect.

-This is a semi-literate Role Play, so I do expect some detail. I don’t just want a sentence saying, ‘Vicky was very upset and glared at James. “That wasn’t very nice!” she said.’ That isn’t very interesting Role Play and is kind of spamming. I’d like descriptions and metaphors; good creative writing. I found that Role Playing in a semi-literate way helps my creative writing, so that’s an added bonus!

-NO excessive bad language. Sure, a little, but not every other word.

-Sexual content is allowed on this site, but please put a polite warning on your thread. Also, please write in a mature way, and not in one that is rather sick and pornographic.

-Please use good grammar and spelling. Yes, we all make mistakes, but try the best you can! I know I make mistakes a lot, but please edit your posts if you see a mistake.
